Announcing its debut from the\u00a01st – 4th of<\/strong>\u00a0March 2020<\/strong>, brand new boutique alpine festival\u00a0Snow Machine\u00a0<\/strong>brings\u00a0four snow-filled days<\/strong>\u00a0of music and culture to the slopes of\u00a0Hakuba, Japan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Set in the picturesque valley of Japan’s premier snowfields only 3.5 hours from Tokyo, Hakuba is famous for hosting the 1998 Winter Olympics along with its many trails and hot springs making this music and ski festival truly the first of its kind.<\/p>\n

Packed with world-class talent, the inaugural year will feature dance music royalty\u00a0Peking Duk (DJ Set)\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0What So Not,<\/strong>\u00a0acclaimed producer duo\u00a0Hermitude<\/strong>, chart topper\u00a0Illy<\/strong>, indie-pop quartet\u00a0The Jungle Giants<\/strong>, party-starters\u00a0Confidence Man<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Hot Dub Time Machine<\/strong>\u00a0and retro revivalists\u00a0Client Liason<\/strong>, alongside\u00a0Crooked Colours, Art vs Science, Bag Raiders (DJ Set), Godlands, Owl Eyes and Running Touch<\/strong>. It will also feature legendary Japanese\u00a0artists\u00a0Kenji Takimi, DJ Kentaro,<\/strong>\u00a0Shinichi Osawa\u00a0<\/strong>and more to be announced,\u00a0<\/strong>all flocking to the fields for the multi-day, experience based festival.<\/p>\n

Of the sister festival to the wildly successful Wine Machine, organisers have said \u201cThere is no place in the world quite like Japan. From the rich cultural heritage seen everywhere from their amazing hospitality to the architecture and cuisine \u2013 Japan is at the top of everyone\u2019s travel list whether it\u2019s first time, or returning.
